_"The purpose of meditation is to make the mind calm and peaceful. When the turbulence of distracting thoughts subsides and the mind becomes still, a deep happiness and contentment arises naturally from within." The New Meditation Handbook by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso

                                                  Meditation...medicine to heal the mind

Meditation is a simple yet profound method to improve the quality of our minds and develop inner peace.

Meditation is at the heart of the practice of Buddhist psychology which is relevant and appropriate for everyone who has a heartfelt wish to be happy and free from problems.

Through learning to control and pacify our minds with meditation, we can reduce, and finally eliminate the negative states of mind that are the principal causes of all our problems and pain. We shall transform our mind into very powerful and beneficial positive states.

As we continually improve these positive states of mind we shall finally perfect them.  Which such a good heart we shall be able to benefit ourself and others. Thus meditation makes our life fulfilling and deeply meaningful.

These meditation classes are taught by qualified teachers and are very easy to understand and apply to our daily lives.

Through following very simple, practical instructions we can learn to let go of the causes of our pain and dissatisfaction and to gain the inner peace and clarity of mind we seek.

The classes are suitable for both beginners and more advanced meditation practitioners, and emphasize how the practical application of meditation and Buddhist pscychology can help us overcome the stresses and strains of  our modern lives. Eventually we will live a life full of joy, meaning, and become of great benefit to ourself, family, friends, and communities.
