Resident Teacher
Hung Tran is the appointed Resident Teacher at Drolma Centre.
He has a background as a GP trained in London and has worked in NHS hospitals and clinics in the home counties and inner city.
So inspired was he by his own personal experiences of meditation as well as the positive impact it has had on his patients that he undertook systematic training to become a qualified teacher of meditation & Buddhism in the New Kadampa Tradition.
He has been studying and practising Kadampa Buddhism and meditation under the guidance and inspiration of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso for over 10 years and continues to do so to deepen his experiences.
Hung presents meditation & Buddha's teachings with clarity, humour, and warmth. He is much appreciated for his example of integrating meditation & Buddhism into modern everyday life.
