Day courses at Drolma centre involve learning about a particular topic or aspect of Buddhism in more depth. The day is split into 4 sessions separated by refreshment/comfort breaks, lunch and the opportunity to stretch your legs. The course cost below includes lunch and refreshments.
Each session will usually involve a teaching, questions/answers, and short meditations to help with our understanding of the topic. Day courses are taught in the meditation room with people sitting on either chairs or cushions (whichever you prefer), and no special equipment or clothing is needed; you just need to be comfortable. You may wish to bring a pen and notepad. The centre also has a range of books, CD's, statues, pictures, stationery and other things available to purchase or order.
