Saturday 27th February - Finding inner peace - an introduction to the basic principles of buddhism.
Saturday 27th March - Solving our problems - learning how to transforming difficult situations ('adverse conditions').
Sunday 25th April - Challenging reality - discover the true nature of our world (studying the Buddhist concept of 'emptiness').
Sunday 23rd May - Changing our mind - learning how the mind works.
Saturday 19th June - Having a good heart - learning how to develop the mind of a Bodhisattva (morning) and, the opportunity to take Bodhisattva Vows (afternoon).
Saturday 25th September - Cherishing Others - developing loving kindness.
Saturday 16th October - Improving concentration - developing mindfulness to find peace and stillness.
Saturday 20th November - Transforming death - living meaningfully and dying joyfully ('Powa' practice).
Sunday 12th December - Vajrasattva Empowerment* the blessings of Buddha Vajrasattva can help us to purify our past negativity.
All normal day courses start at 10am and finish by 5pm and must be booked at least 24 hours in advance. The facility fee is £25 per person (or £15 for concessions**) which includes refreshments and vegetarian lunch (we can cater for vegans/special diets if given advance notice).
* (special event fee of £35 applies to this day; inc. teachings, empowerment and lunch).
** Concessions: unwaged, OAP, welfare benefit recipients, and sponsored NKT people - please ask if unsure.
