The Drolma Centre was established in Peterborough for people to learn about Buddhism and the Buddhist way of life

Kadampa Buddhism is a Mahayana Buddhist school founded by the great Indian Buddhist master Atisha (AD982 - 1054). The Kadampa tradition was later promoted by the renowned Tibetan scholar Je Tsongkhapa and his followers, who became known as the “New Kadampas”. Today there are thousands of New Kadampas around the world studying and practising Je Tsongkhapas teachings.
